Great conversations this week

Posted: March 22, 2010 in Uncategorized

I love a good conversation. That is part of why I started this blog and this week some great conversations have been sparked in all sorts of different places. Here are my favorite web conversations for this week:

Glenn Beck’s take on social justice. Seems that he thinks social justice is a code word for communism and Nazism. The Colbert Report gets props for making fun of this stupid remark.

Also the question of the week: Is the black church dead? I actually believe that it is not dead but in decline but so is most of North American Christianity. While it used to be that African American churches were the most vital churches in America it seems today that statement can be called into question. What do you think?

Health Care Reform Love it or hate it. It’s here. Some say it’s a work of the antichrist. Others say it’s about time. What do you say?

And speaking of conversations. I am really interested to hear what happens through Lausanne’s 12 conversations, 12 cities events. You can learn more about it here

Good night and see you next week for more great conversations!
